# Doofus’s Christmas Feast — A Cheeky Christmas Card by Angie Davis

## Fancy a bit of Christmas dinner humour?

Well, Doofus certainly does! 😂

He’s made himself comfortable in his bright blue armchair, put on his Santa hat and surrounded himself with Christmas presents. He looks rather pleased with himself, doesn’t he? I wonder if he’s waiting for Christmas dinner — or hoping somebody else will do the washing-up!

I designed **Doofus’s Christmas Feast** for those people who love their Christmas dinner almost as much as Christmas itself. You know the sort: pigs-in-blankets, roast potatoes, turkey and all the trimmings. And let's not forget the Brussels sprouts!

The message says it all:

*Pigs-in-blankets*
*Brussel sprouts*
*Turkey & Roasties*
**LET’S PIG OUT!**

And just in case anyone was in any doubt, the banner announces **“Get Stuffed This Christmas”**. Oh, Doofus! Not exactly a card for the faint-hearted — but perfect for somebody who appreciates a cheeky Christmas joke. 😂

## A Hexagon with a Festive Twist

I used Creative Expressions Hexagon Dies by Sue Wilson to create the distinctive hexagonal shape, with layered Button Blue and white cardstock giving the design its striking frame. The decorative circular cut-outs add extra detail around the edges, drawing your eye towards Doofus and his little Christmas scene.

With his blue armchair, Santa hat and presents, Doofus is clearly ready for the festivities. Whether he intends to share those presents — or keep the best bits of Christmas dinner for himself — is anybody's guess!

## Created Using

For this design, I used:

- Creative Expressions Hexagon Dies by Sue Wilson
- **DOOFUS & DOLLY Christmas — CHRISTMAS STUFFING DDX01** stamps, designed by Angie Davis

The stamp set is a Nice Crafting product designed by me, Angie Davis. The finished card is my own handmade AngiesHappyHobby creation.

## Who Would You Send It To?

This one is for the person who always goes back for seconds, the friend who talks about Christmas dinner for weeks beforehand, or anyone who enjoys a festive greeting with a cheeky sense of humour.

It would also make a lovely addition to a Christmas card collection, especially for fans of the DOOFUS & DOLLY Christmas designs.

## A Handmade Card by Angie Davis

I’m Angie Davis, the designer and maker behind AngiesHappyHobby. I love creating handmade greeting cards with character, imaginative paper-craft details and a bit of fun.

Not every Christmas card has to be traditional, does it? Sometimes a little mischief, a funny character and a good Christmas dinner joke are just what’s needed to make someone smile.

**Doofus’s Christmas Feast** brings all three together in one unique handmade card.

## Why You’ll Love It

It’s cheeky, colourful and full of Christmas character. The blue-and-white hexagonal layers give it plenty of decorative detail, while Doofus and his festive feast deliver the punchline.

If your recipient loves Christmas dinner and doesn't mind a slightly naughty Christmas greeting, I reckon this one could be right up their street!

## Handmade Promise

Every card I make is a unique creation, with its own combination of paper-craft details and character. Handmade work can have small variations, which are part of what makes each piece individual.
